The company prides itself on being the "gold standard" while in reality they treat their administrative staff like indentured servants. Supervisors recruit employees to spy on one another, no one takes lunch (despite a beautiful cafeteria) and there is no such thing as a coffee break. I have worked 10 - 12 hour days with only 3 bathroom breaks. The consultants are all Ivy-leaguers who are treated like gods complete with trips to the carribean while the administrative staff are bused to Philadelphia for a "retreat". The supervisors never resolve inter-personal issues - they simply say "make it work". The admins are kept in holding pens (usually 4 to a pen) and they fight and back-stab one another because management either can't or won't manage. If one of the administrative staff has a bad day, you can be sure one of your fellow colleagues will be sending an e-mail to your supervisor to report on your demeanor. Smiles are mandatory and you must say a cheery "HELLO!" to everyone even if you've seen that person 6 times in the last 10 minutes. They keep the stress turned up to such an intense level that most of the staff are either on Xanax or Zoloft. Stay Away from this nut house. Unless of course you just graduated at the top of your class from Harvard.
