One manager at this location makes the work place environment hostile and unsettled. No matter what department you are in, this manager (who has been able to retain her job for over 15 years) will find a way to involve you and criticize you. Nothing like I have ever seen. Additionally, there is only two managers (out of 6) who are honest, kind and easy to work for. The rest cannot be trusted. I have had many people come to me to comment about the behavior of this manager and their own managers, but felt helpless to offer any solution. To me, the only way out of this place was to leave as the company, Empower, who recently purchased our division, was not in any position to make changes.
All in all, this is one place I would not recommend to work for. Way too much hostility, office politics, back stabbing, cursing, temper tantrums and total lack of respect as human beings.
