MID ISLAND MEDICAL SUUCCKKSS!! it's ran by a husband and wife who are control freaks....THE OWNER IS A POT BELlIED UPTIGHT SUCKER!! and the wife OMG! she's the one that wears the pants in the relationship...don't get me wrong their cool at times...but when they get angry at one person it goes onto everyone else with b.s contracts oh and it's against the "law" in ny to take your lunch after 2 o'clock. so make sure to force yourself to eat when you just ate b-fast at 11 a.m because we were helping your stupid customers that come before our lives....now this is why i hate them______night right before I was going to home from work a woman comes in and needs a wheelchair through her insurance...she doesn't have RX nor do we have the documentation needed from the Dr yet..the patient say's they need it TODAY! it's 5 o'clock i wanna go hoome so i page overhead for the owner to come back to his store and help customers. I prepare all the things he will need bcuz he is clueless and even speak to the dr's office for him so i come in the morning and i see a the wheelchair that i set aside for someone else behind my computer...when the owner comes in i ask him oh did you give the ppl from last night this wheelchair? he say's yea they picked that one out...i said oh, i put this one aside for a pt the other day and i'm just waiting on a CMN for it..he says well thats the one their getting they picked it out..and i'm like ur ppl a loaner in the meantime because this one is for someone that was already told that they were gonna get a new chair...welll blah blah blah i get on the phone with his customer and explain that that wheelchair was given to them by mistake and the owner FLIPS OUT!! he called me deaf out loud in front of customers! when he pulled me in his office he starts screaming at me like im his child i tell him to pleaase stop screaming and he tells me SHUUT UPP!!! i was like dont tell me to shut up! i got send home and fired the next business day.
