This company has taken penny pinching and bilking the working person to an unprecedented level. Lowest wages of the industry, $3.50 an hour, paid for trip hours only, plus 20% of the trip contract price, the” gratuity” is the only compensation.
Absolutely no other benefits or compensation. Medical benefits can be bought by the employee for 30% higher than far market value. A $1000 collision insurance deducible to be paid by the driver for any accident. No shift deferential, no vacation, no retirement, no compensation for waiting hours, that average 4 to 6 hours a day. The well heeled management of this company should be ashamed of themselves for riding the backs of their workers. They call themselves Christian !!! I feel sorry for those employee who desperately need their jobs, I keep my position for 14 months because of convenience, and always knew I would leave when I found a better job. This company is a dead end company offering dead end carriers to desperate people, and the turn over of employees will testify to the fact. The chauffer industry is very low compensation to begin with, but to work for this company, is a practice of insurmountable, unjustified, tedium.
