Management from the top down has little regard for the man in the field. Every Wednesday is a "Safety Meeting" at which we have to read safety briefings which were obviously intended for upper management. The plant manager often employes belittlement tactics and increased workloads as a tool of retribution. Massive amounts of redundant or unnecessary paperwork is ever present and ever expanding. The communication process, which is handled mainly by cell phone is ridiculously ineffecient do to managements refusal to have suffecient personal to answer phone traffic from field personal and the general public. vehicle repair and maintenence is as much of a joke as the phone situation. After my second year of service, I was generously rewarded with a 22 cent per hour raise. If you're looking for a job, let me suggest looking elsewhere... Maybe McDonalds.
