I have worked for over 40 years, never had a write up, received raises and promotions on a consistent basis. And then there was Harrahs. I worked for the most horrible, unprofessional person ever imaginable!!! The assistant executive housekeeper is the most evil, hateful person I have ever known in my working career. If she didn't like you she would LIE about anything just so she could write you up and get you fired. I was not her first victim - there were many before me. She is "best friends" with the hotel manager and the manager would go along with her even if she knew "lies" were being told. The hotel manager is now gone, however, harrassment and lies continue and she still is protected. And why is this? Alleged - the former hotel manager is NOW engaged to the recently divorced General Manager of this property. I held professional jobs my entire career and was NEVER treated so poorly. I had write up's (falsely accused), final notice before termination (after a male supervisor stuck his finger in my face as I did NOTHING to him) and the final incident leading to my termination. One of the supervisor's LIED about an incident - I was taken to the director's office - told him it WAS a lie -I had 2 witnesses - I sent him an e-mail to please speak with these 2 employees proving my innocence and I was terminated for asking them to tell him the truth. As crazy as it sounds it is the God's honest truth. I went to HR and they side with her, the director sided with her and it just amazes me how an individual can "lie" and you are the one that is terminated. She talks like "Hitler" to the employees and is allowed to continue to treat people like dirt and lies when necessary. In my entire working career I have neve encountered such a person. Harrah's is the largest gaming company in the world. They promote "team work", "respect and honesty", however, I saw very little of this the entire 3 years I worked there. Unbelievable!!
